The University of Mumbai celebrated ‘Gandhi Jayanti’, in the recent past, under the banner of ‘MUNIJAN 2011’ which focused on the learnings and philosophies of the brand Gandhi and its application to the principles of management in the current industry context.

On the occasion of Mahatma Gandhi death anniversary on January 30, 2012, University of Mumbai and University of South Africa agreed on a student exchange programme aimed at a better understanding of the values exemplified by the father of the nation and their relevance to the management students.

On February 01, 2012 a team of 15 students and professors from the University of South Africa visited the MET League of Colleges as part of the global exchange programme between India and South Africa. This programme concluded with an evening of felicitations and dinner.
