MET IOM MMS Green Club Students participated in a workshop organized by Government Polytechnic College in collaboration with DTE, CEE, and UNICEF. This session focused on SDG 6 (Clean Water and Sanitation) and SDG 13 (Climate Action), addressing the urgent environmental challenges facing our planet.
The workshop shed light on the pressing issues of climate change and water scarcity, both globally and locally. Renowned speakers discussed the water crisis in detail and explored potential solutions.
Green Clubs were encouraged to take a proactive approach by participating in UNICEF-sponsored courses, attending water conservation workshops, and utilizing the Why Waste Application. Additionally, the workshop included hands-on activities such as campus water audits, street plays, water conservation surveys, and campaign design.
This workshop has empowered them to become agents of change and work towards a more sustainable future.
