The Department of Lifelong Learning and Extension (DLLE) and Green Club MET IOP (Degree) collaboratively organized a highly successful Plastic and E-Waste Collection Drive spanning from September 18th to 23rd, 2023. This environmentally conscious initiative aimed to promote awareness about preserving the environment and fostering responsible waste management practices. Throughout the drive, both students and staff actively engaged in the collection of used plastic items and electronic waste from the campus and the surrounding local community.

The event witnessed enthusiastic participation from the student body, showcasing a robust dedication to sustainability. A variety of materials, including plastic bags, bottles, and e-waste items such as outdated electronic gadgets and cables, were diligently collected during the campaign. Subsequently, gathered materials were sorted and handed over to recycling-focused companies, namely 'The Recycling Company' and 'Aasara Welfare Association.'
