MET Institute of Management successfully hosted a National Level Marketing Quiz Competition on 28th September 2024, drawing participation from top institutions across India. The event showcased the brightest marketing talent as teams competed in a series of challenging rounds.
The competition kicked off with a multiple-choice round where 9 teams faced off in a rapid-fire quiz, testing their marketing knowledge. After an intense battle, 6 teams advanced. The next round featured brand identification through logos, mascots, and taglines, further narrowing the field to 4 teams.
The third round, ‘The Riddle Relay,’ saw teams racing against time to solve brand-related riddles, with only the top performers securing a spot in the final stages. The semi-final, ‘Battle of the Beast,’ tested participants on identifying brand abbreviations and industry personalities based on flashed images.
In the grand finale, ‘Ad Mad Mashup,’ teams showcased their creativity by identifying brands from ads and jingles. After a fierce contest, Mr. Madhur Tike and Ms. Gauri Patil from Welingkar Institute, Mumbai, claimed the first prize. Ms. Ankita Saxena and Mr. Aashutosh Varakhedkar from Masters Union, Gurgaon, secured second place, while Mr. Yash Parte and Mr. Yash Desai from Symbiosis Centre for Management & HR Development, Pune, finished in third.
