MET Asian Management Development Centre Junior Batch students along with Staff Members went on a two days Industrial Visit to Nashik. The students visited Sahyadri Farms, Mithila Plastics Industries and MET’s BKC Complex at Adgaon.
During this visit, MET AMDC students had a practical experience of seeing the primary processing of fruit and vegetables and their conversion into semi-processed and processed products. They could also see how the adherence of global standards of Agricultural practices, International food safety standards and Hygiene were implemented. In the Mithila Plastics Industry, they were exposed to the production of polyesters and polypropylene packing material used for global exports as well. Thus, they could link the theoretical knowledge gained in the classrooms to the external practical world.
MET AMDC students visited MET BKC which instilled pride in them by experiencing the various world class structures and facilities of the complex. Rejuvenated and Refreshed from this educational tour, the students have come back with enthusiasm and eagerness to pursue their further academic career.
