MET AMDC students had an insightful industrial visit to Monteria Village, Khalapur, which is India's first sustainable eco-friendly retreat.

The visit began with interactive activities such as planting trees, reflexology therapy, and an exciting giant swing ride, allowing students to connect with nature while learning about wellness and sustainability.

Students observed vermicomposting and biogas formation processes, providing a practical understanding of eco-friendly waste management. Students were also entertained with a magic show, puppet show, and rope-balancing walk, which added a cultural and recreational aspect to the visit.

A village attraction tour introduced them to traditional skills like pottery, khat weaving, tailoring, and carpentry, immersing them in the rural way of life. Additionally, at Anand Mela, students participated in traditional games, fostering an appreciation for local heritage and customs.

The visit included a farm tour where students observed farming practices and took a tractor trolley ride.

The visit wrapped up with a tour of the rural market, offering students a glimpse into local trade, business dynamics, and the livelihoods of village vendors.
