MET Institute of Management organized an international guest session on "The Impact of Geopolitical Dynamics on Global Business Strategies" on December 16, 2024. The session featured Mr. Kobbi Shoshani, Consul General of Israel to Mid-West India, and Mr. Ilan Hartman, Business Consultant and Former Brigadier General and Mr. Anay Joglekar, Political Affairs and Special Projects advisor, Consulate General of Israel, who shared their insights and expertise on this critical subject.
Mr. Shoshani emphasized the importance of strong economic and cultural ties between Israel and India to navigate geopolitical challenges. He highlighted how collaboration and mutual understanding are pivotal in enhancing global business opportunities.
Mr. Hartman shared his extensive experience, addressing the impact of geopolitical dynamics on global business strategies, including disruptions in supply chains, operational shifts in Dubai, and the effects of the 2011 civil war. His philosophy, "You have a short life, so do what you truly want to do," resonated deeply with the audience, encouraging adaptability and purpose-driven decision-making.
