During the recent trip to Lilavati Hospital, on 10th & 11th Jan, 2024, S.Y. D. Pharm students aimed to acquire a deeper understanding of drug management and the varied administration routes utilized by nursing services.

Throughout the visit, the pharmacy staff elucidated fundamental concepts of hospital pharmacy administration, emphasizing responsible medication management. They covered aspects such as supply chain management, inventory control methods, specific storage systems, the distribution of medicines within the hospital, and highlighted the importance of preventing medication errors.

In the Nursing department, the Nurse educator provided a comprehensive explanation and demonstration of diverse administration routes using a mannequin.

The overall experience proved to be enlightening and educational.
