The Women Development and POSH Committee of MET Institute of Management organized a Health & Hygiene Workshop for the MMS Batch of 2024-26 on March 19, 2025. The session aimed to create awareness about personal hygiene and health practices among students, contributing to their overall well-being and corporate readiness.
The workshop was conducted by practising doctors from various fields — Dr. Vrushali Rane Khan (Dermatology), Dr. Tushna Menon (Obstetrics and Gynecology), and Mr. Sony Mehta (Urology).
Dr. Vrushali Rane Khan spoke on skin care, focusing on the importance of regular skin cleansing, sun protection, and hydration. She also discussed common skin issues and simple preventive measures.
Dr. Tushna Menon addressed female hygiene, covering topics such as menstrual health, infection prevention, and the importance of timely medical consultations.
Mr. Sony Mehta discussed male hygiene, emphasizing personal cleanliness, awareness of urinary health issues, and maintaining good hygiene through lifestyle practices.
The session concluded with a Q&A segment, where students engaged with the speakers to clarify their doubts and gain further insights.
