M.E.T. Institute of Pharmacy (Diploma) organised a Field visit to Maharashtra Nature Park at Dharavi for First year students on 31 st March 2023. Total 59 students along with faculty member Mrs. Dipali Khabale visited the Maharashtra Nature Park.

The purpose of the visit was to explain the importance of different medicinal plants. The main trail began from the Education Centre Building and led to the nursery area covering all the educational sections available at the Nature Park. The middle trail started from the Butterfly Garden and covered the Nakshatra Van or the Astral Garden, and Rainwater Harvesting Pond. The Astral Garden in the park has trees that correspond with the 27 Rashis or Zodiac Signs and 27 Nakshatras or Constellations.

Overall, it was a day filled with lots of valuable information, fun and adventure.
