On April 25th, 2024, the Women Development Cell and IQAC of the MET Institute of PGDM collaborated to host an enlightening session on "Prevention of Sexual Harassment and its Implementation." The session was graced by Mr. Shashikant Patil, the esteemed Head of Human Resources at Eureka Forbes Ltd.

Mr. Patil commenced the session by providing an insightful overview of the legal framework governing sexual harassment in the workplace. He elucidated on the pivotal legislations such as the Sexual Harassment of Women at Workplace (Prevention, Prohibition, and Redressal) Act, 2013, and its implications for both employers and employees. The session delved into the multifaceted aspects of sexual harassment, elucidating its various forms, including verbal, non-verbal, and physical conduct. Through real-life examples and case studies, participants gained a deeper understanding of the nuances involved in identifying and addressing instances of harassment.

Mr. Patil underscored the shared responsibility of employers and employees in cultivating a safe and respectful work environment.
