MET Institute of Management organized an Alumni Mentoring Session for the students of MMS 2024-26 on 22nd March 2025. The session brought together esteemed alumni from diverse sectors such as real estate, financial institutions, pharmaceuticals, and technology, who shared their industry insights and guided students on both professional and personal development.
The alumni panel included Mr. Prashant Sheth (MMS 2012-14), Vice President - Credit (India Corp), Citi Corp; Mr. Mihir Gohil (MMS 2019-21), Senior Analyst - Credit Rating, Morningstar DBRS; Ms. Riya Bandekar (MMS 2019-21), Senior Credit Portfolio Analyst, Citi Corp; Mr. Rohan Shah (MMS 2012-14), Assistant Vice President - Sales, Expazia; Mr. Yash Shelar (MMS 2018-20), Program Manager - New Projects, Drip Capital; Mr. Saish Sankhe (MMS 2018-20), Deputy Manager, RailTel Corporation of India Ltd.; Mr. Gaurav Varma (MMS 2015-17), Human Resources Manager, Alkem Laboratories; Ms. Twisha Mehta (MMS 2019-21), Assistant Manager, Ambit; and Mr. Onkar Nikam (MMS 2017-19), Program Manager (Strategy, Product & Operations), Blenheim Chalcot India.
The session was highly interactive, allowing students to engage directly with these industry professionals, gain practical knowledge of corporate functioning, and seek advice on career planning. The mentors shared their experiences, spoke about industry expectations, and encouraged students to focus on continuous learning, adaptability, and building a strong professional network. The session proved to be enriching and insightful, contributing significantly to the students’ understanding of real-world business dynamics and professional growth strategies.
