On 13^th January 2020,  the Student Council of METIOP conducted a session on Menstrual Hygiene at the Municipality school of Bhujbal Knowledge Centre for the girl students of class 6-8. The female menstrual cycle, use of sanitary napkins and their proper disposal was explained to them. Emphasis was laid on the importance of personal hygiene and intake of an iron-rich diet along with protein and leafy vegetables during menstruation. Hygiene being an integral part of healthy life, should not be neglected, as it may lead to various diseases and therefore should be maintained at its best, making it a foremost duty.
