MET Institute of Pharmacy (Diploma) organised a field visit to Maharashtra Nature Park, Dharavi, Mumbai for the first-year students of Pharmacy Diploma on 27 April 2022. A total of 52 students along with Mrs. Dipali Khabale, Faculty member, MET IOP (Diploma) visited the Maharashtra Nature Park.

The objective of the field visit was to make students understand the importance of different medicinal plants. The main trail began from the Education Centre Building and led to the nursery area covering all the educational sections available at the Nature Park. The middle trail started from the Butterfly Garden and covered the Astral Garden and Rainwater Harvesting Pond. The Astral Garden in the park has trees that correspond with the 27 zodiac signs and 27 constellations. Overall the field visit was very informative for the students.
