Lumiere 2021 and the inauguration of The Nest was conducted virtually this year. Our honorable Trustee, Mr. Pankaj Bhujbal addressed the audience and appreciated students and faculty members for their grueling efforts in these unprecedented times. This was followed by the digital inauguration of the annual magazine, The NEST of METIOP degree. The theme for this year was rightly so , ‘The New Normal' was introduced by the editors Ms. Aqsa Khan, Ms. Vidushi Dhakad, Ms.Sachi Parab, and Ms. Siddhi Jain. The Cultural Incharges, Dr. Sonali Naik and Mrs. Bhagyashri Joshi gave a presentation wherein the academic toppers of the year 2019-20 and the winners of many Co-curricular and extra-curricular activities held in 2020-21 were felicitated and a recap of various co-curricular and extra-curricular events conducted during the year was also done. Director, Dr. U. B. Hadkar, Principal, Dr. Abha Doshi (IOP degree) Principal Dr. S. D. Bhosle (IOP diploma) and Course Co-ordinator, Dr. Rashmi Srivastava also shared their words of wisdom. The General Secretaries of the student council Mr. Gaurav Rajpurohit and Ms. Rajvi Shah shared their experience about this virtual journey alongwith the Cultural Secretaries, Ms. Shruti Kotian and Ms. Mehreen Patel. They enlisted a few of the council's accomplishments. Mr. Ashish Srivastava from the Marcom department also shared his thought about the life in the pandemic and assured a helping hand for students if they need it. The event was hosted by Mr. Aditya Daware and Ms. Mehak Makhija.
