It was 8 pm on November 4, 2020 that more than 100 students logged into a Webinar that was ‘Live from Washington’ with Mr. David Alto the World Class Career Coach addressing the MMS students of MET Institute of Management on a cold 7 am morning of Washington, USA. He was welcomed and complimented by Dr. Vijay Page, Director General - MET IOM and Dr. Sangeeta Tandon, Dy. Director - MET IOM.

Mr. David Alto is a graduate from University of Washington and has been a student of the Harvard University who later pursued Business Management Studies at the Purdue University. He is a Career Coach, Business Consultant and Trainer and an expert who specializes in getting resume past the ATS (Application Tracking Systems).

In today’s digital times, getting past an ATS requires a well written resume that is mindful of ATS algorithms that recruiters use to save time as it automatically surfaces and highlights top candidates for job interviews. Mr. David brought out the prime importance and use of the LinkedIn profile. He provided the students with very special tips and tools to craft a very impressive resume.

His suggestions and recommendations to develop ones profile based on keywords and formatting, the use of Read Aloud Speech were unique. His strategic insights on improving one’s Personal Brand and his guidance provided for greater visibility and networking will definitely help to propel the careers of our students to greater heights.
