Dr. Bandoo Chhagan Chatale, Assistant Professor, Department of Pharmaceutical Chemistry, MET Institute of Pharmacy delivered a research presentation on 'Glucose-responsive Insulin patch to combat Diabetes' at Parul Institute of Pharmacy & Research, Parul University, Gujrat, India via zoom platform on 6th September 2022 at 02:30 pm.
The presentation encompassed the formulation of a novel microneedle patch with sensors for glucose detection. The new delivery system is a wearable compact small device with the application of Artificial Intelligence. The formulation consists of a compact device for quick and accurate sensitive determination of glucose levels in Diabetic patients. The sensor is equipped to detect the glucose level in the blood and release the required dose of insulin to the patient.
