On 13th January 2020, the F.Y. students of M.E.T.I.O.P. planned and executed a short skit emphasizing on the importance of consumer rights. The skit was divided into three scenarios each depicting the need to be aware of their rights and the repercussions faced by the community on neglecting their rights as a consumer. The definition of Consumer Right is 'the right to have information about the quality, potency, quantity, purity, price, standard of goods and services' as it may be the case but the consumer is to be protected against any unfair practices of trade. A consumer is an important participant in the market so, in order to avoid exploitation, the rights of the consumer must be protected.
