Mumbai Educational Trust (MET) received the globally coveted AICESIS MDG award at a glittering ceremony in Rome, Italy, on July 21, 2011. International Association of Economic and Social Councils and Similar Institutions (AICESIS) is an inter-governmental organisation in observer status with the United Nations ECOSOC, striving to attain the Millennium Development Goals (MDGs). AICESIS is composed of almost sixty members from four continents (Africa, Latin America, Asia and Europe).
