- What is PGDM in Operations?
- MET Institute of Post Graduate Diploma in
Management offers two years full-time Post Graduate Diploma in
Management - PGDM in Operations which is approved by AICTE (All India Council of Technical
Education).
- Is it recognized by the corporate sector?
- Yes
- What is the eligibility criteria?
- Graduation with 50% marks (45% marks for reserved
category) in aggregate in any discipline from any university. Final year students can also apply.
Proficiency in MS Office is a prerequisite.
Candidate
applying should have a valid score card of any one of the following entrance exams: CMAT, XAT, CAT, ATMA, GMAT,
MAT and MH-CET.
- What is the selection procedure?
- Applicants will be selected on the basis of the
following- Entrance Test (any one) Score (CMAT, XAT, CAT, ATMA, GMAT, MAT, MH-CET) + Aptitude Questions and
Statement of Purpose (SOP) on Video + Personality Factor Test (PF Test) + Online/Offline Personal
Interview + Academics Performance + Other Parameters
- How can students apply?
- The desired candidate can apply for PGDM programme by
purchasing the form for Rs. 2300 online on MET PGDM website which will
generate an OTP. Verify the OTP and proceed with payment. On successful payment, you will receive an email
with Registration Code (to be used as User Name) and Password with online link to login and complete the
Online Application.
- What is SOP and what questions does it consist of?
- SOP is nothing but a statement of Purpose comprising
five questions that must be self-recorded and uploaded. (Not more than 30mbps). The 5 questions are as
follows:
- Please introduce yourself, also clearly mention your
name.
- Why do you want to do an MBA?
- Why do you want to pursue PGDM at MET?
- What is your view on the impact of emerging
geo-political changes on business/management practices?
- What is the major PURPOSE you want to achieve in
life?
- Is work experience mandatory for PGDM?
- No. However students with work experience may get up
to 10 marks allocated to them, depending upon their work experience.
- What is the fees structure for PGDM?
- The fee for this program is Rs. 5,50,000/- p.a.
(State-of-the-art laptop) is given complimentary.
- What are the fee payment facilities?
- Fees can be paid through loans or through
EMI's.
MET has tied up with Saraswat Co-op Bank and Axis Bank for the loan facility. And
GrayQuest for EMI facility, which offers spot sanctions to deserving students.
- Does MET provide hostel facilities to the students?
- Currently the Institute does not provide hostel
facilities to students. However, it endeavours to help students to procure accommodation around MET
campus
- Does MET provide campus placements to all the students?
- MET provides excellent placements opportunities based
on individual performance to9 each and every student. We have provided 100% placements to our students in
the past as well. The highest package has been Rs.15.5 LPA. and an average of Rs 8 LPA so far.
