IQAC

Quality is commonly characterized as doing things correctly the first time. As a result, the primary goal of establishing an Internal Quality Assurance Framework is to create a system for taking deliberate, consistent, and catalytic action to improve MET IOM's academic and administrative performance, as well as to institutionalize and internalize a quality culture. Through a combination of self and external quality measurement, promotion, and maintenance measures, the IQAC Policy aims to make quality the defining factor at MET IOM.

Scope: This policy applies to all the academic and administrative departments at MET IOM.

Functions:

1. Development and implementation of quality benchmarks/parameters for the institution's numerous academic and administrative tasks.
2. Facilitating the development of a learner-centric environment conducive to high-quality education and the maturity of teachers to embrace the necessary knowledge and technology for participatory teaching and learning.
3. Arrangements for receiving input on quality-related institutional processes from students, parents, and other stakeholders Information about numerous higher education quality indicators is disseminated.
4. Information on numerous higher education quality metrics is disseminated.
5. Inter- and intra-institutional workshops, seminars on quality-related topics, and the promotion of quality circles are also planned.
6. Documentation of numerous quality-improvement programs and activities.
7. Serving as the Institution's nodal agency for coordinating quality-related initiatives, such as the adoption and dissemination of best practices.
8. MIS is used to develop and maintain institutional databases with the goal of maintaining/improving institutional quality.
9. Establishment of a Quality Culture in the Organization.
10. Preparation of the Annual Quality Assurance Report (AQAR) to be submitted to NAAC, in accordance with NAAC rules and parameters.

Objectives of IQAC

1. To maintain and improve the quality of management education and research in all formats.
2. To aid efforts aimed at technical advancement and educational methodology innovation.
3. To give professors and research students with training in how to use cutting-edge educational tools and research facilities.
4. To initiate best quality practices to be experimented by the constituent faculties of METIOM and to participate in their internalization.
5. To collect and consolidate data from all departments in order for the university to participate in national ranking programs run by governmental and non-governmental organizations, as well as international organizations.
6. Meetings are held on a regular basis to communicate information relevant to decision-making in the University's quality measures.
7. Conduct workshops and conferences on teaching, learning, and research quality concerns for internalization by Constituent Colleges and other institutions.
