Corporate Readiness Program

At MET IOM, we continuously work to improve our students' business acumen and employability quotient to prepare them for the challenges and expectations of the corporate world. The Corporate Readiness Program is our flagship training initiative that aims to equip students with the necessary skills, knowledge, and mind-set to become globally relevant, socially responsible and emotionally competent management professionals and entrepreneurs.





  1. Guest Session by Industry Experts: MET IOM regularly invites Industry Experts to conduct sessions for MMS students. These sessions serve as a vital bridge between classroom learning and real-world application, equipping students with practical insights and skills demanded by the corporate landscape.
  2. Industrial Visit & Outbound Training: The Institute organizes Industrial Visits / Outbound Training that stand as a cornerstone in bolstering students' employability by offering direct exposure to diverse industries.
  3. Additional Courses: MET IOM goes beyond conventional education by providing additional courses that focus sustainability and emerging trends. Courses such as Data Analytics, Analysis of Financial Statements, Circular Economy and more are offered to MMS students to make them industry-ready.
  4. Alumni Interaction: MET IOM facilitates alumni interactions as a pivotal step towards ensuring MMS students are industry-ready. These sessions provide invaluable insights, networking opportunities, and real-world perspectives, equipping students with the practical knowledge and connections needed to excel in their careers. MET IOM engage with dedicated alumni network to bridge the gap between academia and professional success.
  5. Mentoring: Industry Experts / Alumni & Internal Faculty conduct mentoring sessions for MMS students to provide career guidance, placement preparedness and a platform to learn from experienced professionals, ensuring students are equipped with the skills and knowledge needed to excel in their careers.
  6. Pre-Placement Training (Aptitude Test, Language Lab, Mock GD/PI): To enhance our students employability quotient, MET IOM frequently conducts aptitude tests, mock GD/PI sessions, language lab sessions. These sessions are conducted by internal faculties as well as industry experts / alumni.
  7. Profile Briefing by Industry Experts & Internal Faculty: To help students decode and understand job description (JDs) shared by companies, internal faculties, industry experts and alumni conduct profile briefing session during the placement season. These sessions not only help students take better career decisions but also clear technical questions related to the JDs.
