How to Apply?

Eligibility

A candidate seeking admission must be a Graduate in any discipline from a recognised university, approved by the University Grant Commission (UGC). In the case of foreign nationals, the university must be approved by the respective state/country.

Those who are appearing for the final year of Degree Examination in the current year, can also apply. However they must produce documentary evidence of having passed the examination on or before the commencement of the programme, failing which their admission will be liable for cancellation.


Steps to Complete Your Online Application for CITRD [PGP EMBA-Insurance] at MET

1. Visit the Website

  • Go to www.met.edu and select the desired program.
  • Click the ‘Apply’ button.

2. Register Yourself

  • Enter your Full Name, Mobile Number, and click Send OTP.
  • Verify the OTP received on your registered mobile number.
  • Provide your Email ID, select the Program, State, City, and enter the captcha.
  • Click Register Now to proceed.

3. Access the Application Form

  • You will receive the login details.
  • You will be redirected to MET Form Page.
  • Click Go to Step 1 to start building your application.

4. Step-by-Step Form Completion

  • Step 1: Personal and Additional Details: Enter details such as Nationality, Middle Name, Gender, and Date of Birth (DOB).
  • Step 2: Application Fee Payment: Make a non-refundable payment of Rs.2000 (for Indian nationals) or US $ 27 (in case of foreign nationals) using any of the following modes: Credit Card, Debit Card, Net Banking, UPI
  • Step 3: Guardian and Address Details: Enter additional details, including Parent/Guardian Information, Communication Address, and Present Address.
  • Step 4: Academic Qualification Details: Provide details of your 10th, 12th/Diploma, Graduation Details along with scanned copies of relevant documents photo & signature.
  • Step 5: Work Experience: Enter your professional experience, if applicable.

5. Review and Submit

  • Ensure all details are filled in accurately.
  • Your data can be saved, retained, and edited during the process.
  • Before final submission, review all the details thoroughly.

6. Post-Submission Process

  • After successfully submitting your application, you will receive details about your Group Discussion (GD) / Personal Interview (PI) via Email/SMS/WhatsApp.

IMPORTANT

  1. Documents scanned and uploaded would need to be produced in original along with attested copies at the time of admission. Marks under any category shall be awarded only against relevant uploaded documents. Admission will be confirmed only after verifying the original certificates.

Admission Procedure

Candidates applying for this programme will be selected on the basis of:

  • CATEGORY 1

    MET Multiple choice Test to judge General Knowledge, English, Logical Reasoning and Quantitative Aptitude + GD +PI + Academics + Overall Performance
    OR

  • CATEGORY 2

    MH -CET, CMAT, XMAT, CAT, ATMA, GMAT, NMAT, MAT, SNAP + GD +PI + Academics + Overall Performance

MET - Management Congruence Test

MET - MCT is specifically designed to assess the suitability of students for various management careers. These tests establish score on emotional balance, extroversion, adaptability, congruence and ethics. There are no right or wrong answers. The candidates are to describe themselves honestly and as accurately as possible.


Fee Structure

Annual Fees is Rs. 3,81,355 (Rupees three lacs eighty-one thousand, three hundred and fifty-five only) + GST as applicable. Fees are payable by A/c payee demand draft in favour of ‘MUMBAI EDUCATIONAL TRUST’s ASIAN MANAGEMENT DEVELOPMENT CENTRE’ payable at Mumbai. Students can resort to online payment as per the details contained here in the prospectus.

On being selected the students will have to pay the total fees of the first year, i.e. Rs. 3,81,355 (Rupees three lacs eighty-one thousand, three hundred and fifty-five only) + GST as applicable immediately at the time of admission, failing which the admission is liable to be cancelled. Fees once paid will not be refunded under any circumstance.

The London Study Tour is optional for the students who are ready to pay Rs 2 lacs extra for the visit, before the start of the tour. MET shall not undertake the tour programme if the number of students are insufficient.

Loan Facility

MET has worked out special education loan schemes for qualifying candidates with leading banks. Details are available at the Institute.

Hostel Facility

Currently the Institute does not provide in-house hostel facilities to students. However, it endeavours to help students procure hostel accommodation.
