In celebration of the month of March, dedicated to recognizing and honoring the contributions of women, MET Institute of Management (MET IOM) organized the Women Leadership Forum 2025. As part of this forum, the Institution’s Innovation Council (IIC) invited two accomplished women entrepreneurs - Ms. Aparna Acharekar, Co-founder of coto & Ms. Aparna Krishnan, Co-founder and CEO, Durva Life, who have made significant contributions in the field of health and wellness to conduct the IIC Self-Driven Activity and interact with students.
Ms. Acharekar, shared insights on building purpose-driven digital communities. She spoke about her journey in creating a platform that offers a safe and trusted space for individuals to connect, collaborate, and engage in conversations across diverse interest areas. Through coto, she aims to empower community-led interactions that promote personal and professional growth. Her address emphasized the growing importance of digital ecosystems that foster meaningful engagement, learning, and mutual support.
Ms. Krishnan, highlighted the importance of addressing health and wellness through innovative and sustainable solutions. She discussed her entrepreneurial journey and the mission of Durva Life in offering preventive healthcare options by combining the wisdom of Ayurveda with modern science. Her session offered students valuable perspectives on identifying market gaps and creating meaningful impact through entrepreneurship in the wellness sector.
