On World Happiness Day, MET Institute of Management celebrated a significant step towards a more well-being-oriented educational environment. On 20th March 2024, an interactive meeting was held between MET representatives, led by Dr. Swati Lodha, Director, MET IOM and distinguished guests from prestigious Finnish universities - Ms. Sirpa Rutanen, Head of Communication and Marketing, Academic Services, VAMK University of Applied Sciences, Ms. Elina Valkama, Planning Officer for Communications and Marketing, SAMK University, Ms. Aija Ahokas, Manager of Education Export, Metropolia University of Applied Sciences.

The meeting's focus was on exploring collaborative efforts to create well-being-focused educational experiences. Exciting possibilities emerged, including a unique India-Finland Hackathon. This event would see talented students from both countries brainstorm solutions for achieving long-term happiness. The discussions extended beyond the hackathon, with student exchange programs also being explored to provide valuable international experience and broaden student horizons. MET IOM is keen about this collaboration's potential to enrich student education, foster cross-cultural understanding, and build opportunities for all members of our global community.
