Win against all Odds

MET’s Karate Champ and the management student – Samruddhi Dukhande won the 24th National World Shotokan Karate Championship, which was held on 1st September 2013 in Mumbai. With around 3000 players participating in this tournament that came from all over the country e.g. Madhya Pradesh, Delhi NCR, and Karnataka etc. made the competition tough and challenging.

Samruddhi, who participated in Above 21 years, Girls Open Category, won Silver in Kumithe, and Bronze in Kata. She describes the event saying, “I enjoyed the tournament. The experience was amazing because I had participated for the first time in a National Level Tournament. In future, I wish to play more, such as these and do even better to win them all”. Congratulations, she indeed knows how to manage the opponent and register a win against all odds.
