MET IMM Welcomes M-11
MET Institute of Mass Media witnessed the `Get the Edge’ entry of the 11th batch of students for the Advanced Diploma in Mass Media program. The inauguration ceremony was graced by Ms. Nandini Goswami, Director - Corporate Communications, Kellogg’s India. She shared treasured insights of the communication industry with the students and the essentials on how they should prepare themselves for the corporate world while they are pursuing PG in Mass Media at MET – the leading Mass Media Institute in India. She stressed on the importance of time management and hard work to reach the top. Mr. Manav Dhanda, Group CEO, Sri Adhikari Brothers Group (SAB TV) narrated his personal experiences and spoke about his `taste the thunder moments’ in the industry and the importance of wit, intelligence and drive to excel in the media industry. This was followed by an inspiring talk by Mr. Ravi Deshpande, Ace Advertising Professional and Ex- Chief Creative Officer - Contract Advertising and Chairman & CCO of Whyness (Integrated Communications Agency) who enthused the students with storytelling, strategy and creativity to walk the tough path ahead.
Delzeen Watcha and Prerna Bagaria both MET IMM’s illustrious alumnus and seasoned media entrepreneurs conducted the second session for the M-11 batch of students.
Jasmine Arora, Chief Image Consultant & Stylist at Imagicians conducted an effective session on Creating 1st impressions and Image Management. Mr. Vijay Shekhar, Editor – Live India gave the students an interesting and engaging overview of the exciting world of Journalism.
