The first round was designed to test the team's ability to analyze and interpret the given data. Several management colleges participated in the case study round, of which top 6 teams were shortlisted and invited to the Ahmedabad campus to participate in the next round. The top six teams comprised of two teams from MET PGDM (e-Business), two teams from IIM Ahmedabad, one team from NMIMS and one from Goa Institute of Management.
The second round was the campus round which revolved around managing a business by giving the teams real-life scenarios aided by virtual credit systems like venture capitalists and banks. It was divided into three phases, where the teams had to make time-bound strategic decisions to achieve financial objectives by maximizing the company's profits. MET students defeated teams from some of the best B-schools in India like NMIMS, IIM-Ahmedabad etc and won the awards. Congratulations to the MET teams!
