MET presented the Credit Summit India 2017

MET presented The Credit Summit India 2017 on Aug. 29, 2017, held at the Hotel Taj, Santacruz the event was organised by AIWMI and NISM with MET being the lead partner. Attended by large number of professionals as well as students, the Summit was well accepted. The Credit Summit India 2017 (CSI-2017) was dedicated to special topics in credit risk measurement and management as well as to the discussion of causes and impacts of events on international financial markets and current regulatory activities in the field. It was designed to provide an in-depth insight into credit themes and trends across all major sectors.

The Credit Summit was opened by Mr. Aditya Gadge, CEO, Association of International Wealth Management of India (AIWMI) and the welcome address was delivered by Dr. Vijay Page, Director General, MET Institute of Management. This was followed by opening speech by Mr. Sandip Ghose, Director, National Institute of Securities Markets (NISM), established by the Securities and Exchange Board of India. Mr. V. Vaidyanathan, Executive Chairman, Capital First, delivered the insightful key note session on ‘Changing Credit Reality: New Challenges’. In his keynote, Mr. Vaidyanathan discussed about 7 important and thought provoking factors affecting the credit industry. Eminent panelists held discussion on range of topics that included – ‘Ethics and Governance - Issues in Banks’, ‘Credit Risk Analysis - Evolving Trends’ and ‘Credit Analysis - Need for Capacity Building’. It was indeed a very enriching Summit.
