Mr. M. V. Tanksale, Chairman & Managing Director, Central Bank of India, spoke highly of the MET League of Colleges and the learning ambience of international stature, that’s been made available to the students. He delivered the Convocation Address that shall continue to motivate each graduating student. He exhorted the young professionals to dedicate themselves to the glory of the nation, growth of the institution and the dignity of chosen profession. Mr. Sangeeth Varghese, Founder & CEO, Global Shapers and LeadCap Ventures challenged the students’ thinking and perspective by explaining that the students need to focus on gaining knowledge, mere placements ought not to be their objective while they are in an institution like MET. Focus on placement will at best take them to a good job whereas if they concentrate on enriching knowledge, they will develop entrepreneurial capabilities, enabling them to become job creators.
Shri. Chhagan Bhujbal, Founder Chaiman - MET also delivered the heartfelt talk on how he foresees each graduating student to grow and be successful in their chosen area of profession. He urged the graduating students to forever remain committed to the inculcated values and the cause of inclusive growth. He wished them all the very best for their future endeavours.
The event was concluded with the graduating batches being photo shot with the dignitaries, faculty and staff followed by corporate lunch. Joy of the students knew no bound, as they stood for the photograph in their graduation robes. A warm farewell to the batches on one hand and welcome to the alumni fold on another. We take pride in the assurance that these professionals will cause the industry to thrive and keep the MET flag flying high. All the very best!
